DECLARATION:

 

The world’s response to COVID19 has been arbitrary.   Despots are using fear of the virus as an excuse to usurp authority they do not have in an attempt to reduce their citizens from free men and women to broken subjects ruled by edicts rather than governed by law.  These are evil times that transcend normal political disagreements. The last time humanity faced something like this, their inaction led to human atrocities and shamed all who were alive and did nothing.  Indeed, WWII martyr Dietrich Bonheoffer said, “Silence in the face of evil is evil itself.”

 

Therefore, we make this appeal to you, Weld County Commissioners (WCC), who have been elected by us and have sworn an oath to uphold the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic, to interpose for the liberties guaranteed in the United States Constitution.  Inasmuch, as you are our local governing body, you are not only authorized to act by historical precedent and Biblical precepts, you are duty bound to do so.

 

It seems prudent that we who are making this request demonstrate in this document why there is a cause to action. The past two years have shown repeated injuries and violations with the objective of establishing a tyrannical government over our County and State.  The list of infringements includes, but is not limited to, the following:

 

While we recognize that liberty must be balanced in a civil society in a way that a person cannot endanger others in the exercise of those liberties; however, the burden will always be on the state to prove when such limitations are necessary and prudent. In the case of mask and vaccine mandates, there has never been any debate and anyone who does not agree with the narrative has been effectively silenced. This fact alone should signal that we are in dangerous times.

 

Evidence has shown that masks and vaccines have limited to no impact on the virus and, for a small but not insignificant number of people, have been more dangerous than the disease itself.

 

The list of usurpations includes but are not limited to the following:’

    

• The continual promotion of fear through Lock Downs, Mask Mandates, Vaccination Mandates, etc.  Although done in the guise of “health,” these have actually contributed to fear and added depression, helplessness, isolation, suicide, discrimination, mental illness, and even death.  One small example of this is the governor’s order that all Colorado citizens be vaccinated against Covid19.  Your council promotion of the November/December vaccination calendar printed and distributed by you and your health department, echoes the dictation of Denver.  This is a direct violation of our right to liberty, as it negates personal choice, our right to life, as it reduces its fullness, and our right to pursue happiness.

• The inability to obtain early treatment and medication readily.  Although you have published a schedule for vaccination, you have never sought to educate the public on early treatment drugs and protocols.  Indeed, many doctors and pharmacists who prescribe such drugs have been fined and threatened with loss of license, which means loss of business.  In preventing them from keeping the fruit of their labor, you have violated their right to the pursuit of happiness in addition to continuing the advancement of fear.

• The mask mandate relished by the state promotes fear, discrimination, isolation, loss of personal privacy, and mental, emotional, and physical anguish.  Research the history of masks and you will find that they have been used as a tool for domination as the wearer is forced into submission.  This again violates our rights to life and liberty as well as continues to assert fear and discrimination.  They are a direct violation of our right to liberty.  This is akin to having individuals wear a scarlet letter or a Star of David.  “The greatest tyrannies are always perpetrated in the name of the noblest causes.”  (T. Paine)

• Loss of jobs due to the vaccine mandate is an outright attack on one’s ability to provide for his/her family.  It also removes the individual’s ability to make his/her own choices. 

 

This is an infringement of our God given right to the pursuit of happiness, in other words, keep what has been worked for.  It puts families in fear, but at risk of financial collapse.

 

These infractions have been imposed upon the citizens without the consent of legislators and certainly without consent of we, the people. 

 

The Doctrine of Lesser Magistrate declares that when the higher civil authority makes unjust or immoral laws or decrees, the lesser or lower ranking civil authority has both a right and duty to reject obedience to that authority.  If needed, the lesser authorities have the right, and the responsibility, to resist the superior authority. This doctrine is rooted in the historical and biblical doctrine of interposition.  The doctrine of interposition is demonstrated by the lesser magistrate placing himself between the tyrant or bad law and the people.

 

Historically, this doctrine was practiced before the time of Christ and Christianity, but it was Christian men who actually implanted it into their political institutions.  A prime example is the Magna Carta written by a group of barons who had King John of England sign it in 1215.    This monumental document made it clear that the State has limitations; all are subject to the law. 

 

Indeed, our own founding fathers understood the doctrines well and birthed the Declaration of Independence.  Other historical examples include the 1521 Magdeburg Confession, the earliest known document making the doctrine of the lesser magistrate official.  Calvin, Knox, and Luther all spoke of it as well.  

 

The interposition of the lesser magistrates is absolutely critical for the preservation of liberty.  Thankfully, the doctrines are currently being employed today.  Examples include legislation from Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, Montana, Tennessee, and Florida. 

 

America needs to understand the Lesser Magistrate Doctrine now more than ever.  Our freedoms and liberties are being assaulted daily by those in high office, and the attacks on the law of God are vicious and persistent.  In Colorado, Weld has traditionally been known for her Liberty.  She is a Home Rule Charter, independently governed, and has a history of just government that benefits the individual.  Therefore, it is critical that the Weld County Commissioners adopt the Doctrine of Lesser Magistrates to maintain liberty and pollinate the other Colorado counties with Liberty.

 

WE RESOLVE THAT ----------

• A letter be sent to employers and businesses open to the public that the WCC is looking into the current policies being suggested by Federal Agencies to make sure they are both legally and morally ethical.  That the Board intends to ensure the rights of the citizens of Weld County are not being violated by arbitrary edicts that have little to no efficacy.

• The board seeks out the opinions of experts who have been silenced so far to be able to make a balanced judgment for what is in the best interest for the citizens of Weld County.

• The board should direct the County Health department or another agency as they deem proper to investigate claims of vaccine injuries and deaths to determine the validity of the claims. Those who claim to have been hurt by the vaccines deserve to at least be heard.

• A public statement to be released by the WCC announcing each of these actions.

• During the course of the experiment the scientist in charge must be prepared to terminate the experiment at any stage, if he has probable cause to believe, in the exercise of the good faith, superior skill and careful judgment required of him that a continuation of the experiment is likely to result in injury, disability, or death to the experimental subject

 

 

HIPAA, Medical privacy; Vaccine passports violate privacy laws. Without overwhelming evidence of the efficacy of the shots and the need to enact these measures, this is completely immoral. 

 

Anti-discrimination laws and the 1st and 14th Amendments; Since people who have been vaccinated can and have, contract and spread the virus, any policy that singles out people who have not gotten the shot is discriminatory and wrong.
